It will be hot, it will be cramped, it will be a long night, but it will be worth it!
On August 11-12, the Community Connections Department will be living out of their vehicles for 24 hours in support of the YWCA Niagara Region.
The goal is to help raise awareness about hidden homelessness in Niagara. This event will be taking place in the Pen Centre parking lot, and there will be different activities that aim to provide a better understanding of what it feels like to live out of your car.
It’s going to be an unforgettable experience and you’re invited to Park it at the Pen and to end homelessness in the Niagara Region.

Did you know that 185 people are homeless each night in Niagara?! That’s a lot of people who deserve a place to call home.
Join us as we take a ride and help the YWCA continue to provide the much needed shelter and support to the homeless women and families in our community.
