“Basic Computer Training” – Special Edition
From Monday, January 27 to Friday, January 31, every morning from 9am to 12pm. This class is for participants with no or very little computer skills. You will learn the basics about computers and will progress to Microsoft Word to work on your resume and cover letter. Only 12 seats available. Chop-Chop Group: preparing food for the needy
We invite all newcomers to volunteer while practicing conversational English. Group meets January 15 and 29, from 12:30pm to 2pm in the “Robby” kitchen.

Men’s Ping Pong Club; Mondays, 12:30pm; Youth Lounge.

All Women’s Swimming at Kiwanis Centre, every Sunday 4:30pm to 6pm. Register with Zainab in Room 2.

Wellness Activity: Gentle Zumba – Fitness & fun every Tuesday at 2pm in the “Robby”.

Walk Aerobics

Programming for youth age 13 and up:
Life skills sessions: Come every Monday from 2:30 to 4:30pm to learn valuable skills and prepare yourself for the future. Topics this month include: budgeting, credit cards, customer service skills. Held in Youth Lounge.

Youth Group: meets Wednesdays at 2:30pm.

Volunteering: Come with us to volunteer at Community Care on the last Wednesday of each month. For more information, contact youth@folk-arts.ca.
