Accessibility is Ageless: A Conversation on DEI is a group conversation session for newcomers to Canada and Canadian participants to tackle learning about and discussing Anti-Oppression, Anti-Racism and 2SLGBTQIA+ related topics in a contemporary Canadian context. The goal of this program is to empower newcomer clients to address discrimination practices that impact their settlement and integration processes. Program structure includes a group work style instruction conducted by our staff and specialists in the community (volunteer speakers), sessions are currently being hosted via “Zoom” as a result of the evolving government recommendations related to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
We celebrate and promote cultural, social and economic inclusion and well-being of all immigrants and newcomers.
We are a gateway to equitable, respectful and welcoming communities for immigrants and newcomers in Niagara.
