As the well-being and needs of our ongoing volunteers (many who continue to provide exceptional “virtual” support to our newcomer community) is our priority, we are currently not accepting new online volunteer applications.

We thank you for your interest in volunteering with our Centre and for your understanding, patience and continued support.

We hope that you will check back again soon and encourage you to reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Jillien Hone, at volunteer@folk-arts.ca if you have any questions about this message.

Take good care and we hope to meet you soon!

Volunteering at the NFAMC is an opportunity to learn about other cultures, share your own culture and meet new people. There are several opportunities to volunteer with our Centre and we hope that you choose us on your journey to becoming a volunteer.

If you are a newcomer who is interested in volunteering in the Niagara community, please email communityconnections@folk-arts.ca or phone our Welcome Centre at (905) 685-6589 to make an appointment with a Community Connections staff member.

If you are interested in volunteering with our Centre, please start your journey by filling out an online application below. We have opportunities at our main office in St. Catharines (85 Church St.) as well as our satellite offices in Niagara Falls (St. Ann Adult & Continuing Education Centre) and Welland (Father Fogarty Adult Learning Centre).

If you have any questions about volunteering at the NFAMC, please phone our Volunteer Coordinator, Jillien Hone, at (905) 685-6589 Ext. 246 or (289) 407-1358.
