Join us for a Health & Safety Training Course
Health & Safety on the job is very important. Newcomers to Canada have a higher rate of injury on the job due to not knowing certain information that can help prevent occupational injury and illness. This course will provide information about many topics, including: your rights and responsibilities, workplace culture, stress relief, Employment Standards Act, Ergonomics, WHMIS, Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps, and Violence and Harassment Prevention. Some certifications may be available.
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Describe your responsibilities for preventing workplace injuries and illnesses
- Explain your legal health and safety rights
- Identify common workplace hazards and solutions
- Recognize employers’ safety responsibilities
